    How To Unroot Your Android Before Updating Via OTA

    Many android users especially Infinix users get their device bricked while trying to
    update their android phones over the air (OTA). This post will show you how to
    fully unroot your android device before trying to upgrade.
    Kindly note that if you wish to update your android device via OTA, you should
    be ready to unroot your device if not then don't update it via OTA. Also note that
     if you used any application that requires root access should be uninstalled before
    updating via OTA.

    The below method works mainly for users who had used Kingroot app to root
    their android device. But if you had used any other app, just follow same process
    explained below.

    How To Unroot Your Android Device

    ==> Open Kinguser or Superuser on your android

    ==> Click on Settings icon
    sanxynet.com
    Kinguser Platform

    ==> Select Root authorization settings

    ==> Select Remove Root permission

    ==> Click clear

    ==> After the above proccess is successful, you should restart your android
           device

    ==> Check all your android app, you shouldn't see Kinguser on your device
           again if the unroot process is successfully done

    ==> Go to Playstore and download Root Checker to check if your device
           has been fully unrooted

    ==> After downloading Root checker and verifying that your device is now
           unrooted, then you can proceed to update your device via OTA

    Remember to always back your android device up to enable easier unbricking
    if bricking occurs during updating your device. I also advice all android users
    to install custom recovery on their device to unbrick android device with easy.
    You can also back your entire rom up with custom recovery on your device.

    My personal advice to anyone who has rooted his/her phone and sees update, please
    don't update it via OTA, but if you want tto just back up your stock rom or get
    your device stock rom ready so that if any brick occurs you can easily unbrick it.
    You can easily get the update online and flash it to your device through pc or
    custom recovery.
