The believe is that the MTN Music plus data can only be used to stream mtn music online but with the help of proxy apps, the
idea has changed. You can use the Mtn Music+ 150MB to browse and download anything you wish online.
This 150MB mtn music+ data is free and you can choose any of the proxy app that will be listed below to use with it.
You can use any of the Simple server, Psiphon, Tweakware, Openvpn
or HTTP Injection.
==> Get a mtn sim either old or new sim
==> Send D to 5900 via SMS
==> Dial *559*2# to view the data (data cannot be checked again)
==> After exhausting the 150MB, send I to 5900
Set your mobile access point to the following

>>> Log Level - Debug
>>> Launch Psipon Handler
>>> Select "real host" under proxy type
>>> Proxy Server - musicplus.mtnonline.com/touch/index.html#index-page

>>> Save and navigate to Options
>>> Select More Options
>>> Proxy Settings - Connect through an HTTP
>>> Select Use the following settings
>>> Host Address - 10.199.212.2
>>> Port - 8080
>>> Go back and click start
After exhausting the 150mb music data, dial *123*5*1# and select My active Services by typing 2 and press send. You will then see your available mtn music+ subscription and simply unsubscribe from all.
Now send D to 5900 again to get another 150MB.
Note: After sending D to 5900 and you have exhausted the 150MB, send I to 5900 to get another 150MB making 300MB for use within a week or less depending on how responsive your sim is with Mtn music plus.
