Many have trouble updating their Android one (Infinix Hot 2) to the latest Operating System (OS) since the it is available Over The Air (OTA). Remain calm because sanxynet will walk you through how to install it manually.

If you have rooted your device or running Infinix XUI and not the Stock Rom then you may have issue updating via the OTA. The method that i will take you through in this post is the Pc method of flashing your infinix Stock Rom with a Stock Recovery Mode.
Every Infinix Hot 2 user need to install the Stock Recovery because it was not installed when the device was purchased.

==> Infinix Hot 2 Stock Rom
==> Infinix Hot 2 Stock Recovery
==> Latest Infinix hot 2 Marshmallow update
==> Vcom drivers
==> SP Flash Tool
==> Good USB cable for your device
Note: Back up your imortant files and apps to your memory card or Pc
If your device is not the Stock Rom then download the following;
If your device is rooted click here to learn how to unroot.
After your Infinix Hot 2 is back running on Stock Rom without Root Access.
Now download the files below;
Click here to learn how to flash custom recovery to Mtk device which is Infinix Hot 2.
After you have successfully flash the Hot 2 Custom Recovery to your device follow the few steps left.
==> The download Android M will be in zip format
==> Rename it to update.zip
==> Place it on your Memory Card. Don't place it inside any folder within the memory card for easier access
==> Switch Off Your device
==> Press and hold the Power key and Volume Up together and release only the Power Key immediately when you see the Infinix Logo to enter into the custom recovery
==> Press Volume up or Volume down button to enter the full recovery mode
==> Use the Volume buttons to scroll up and down in the recovery mode and press the Power button to serve and enter/selecton key
==> Scroll to "Apply Update From SD Card" and press the power button once
==> Scroll to update.zip and press the enter button for selection again
==> Scroll to "Yes' and select with the power button
==> Wait for the Installation to be completed
==> Restart your device
Congratulations you have installed OS 6.0 on your infinix hot 2.
