How Do I Update the Device To Android 4.4.2 Without losing Root?
- Download SuperSU to your SD card here

- Download the ROM file that best suit you here or use here
- Make sure the ROM file is on your SD card as well,
- Power off your device, press and hold the power button
(recovery mode may vary on android devices)
Your Android device OS should be 4.4.2 (kitkat) and rooted now.- When in the recovery mode make use of the power button

- Return to the main menu and press CWM recovery in the install menu
- Browse through the folder to locate your device SD card
