Upgrade Android OS From 4.1 To 4.4 (KitKat)

Android has been heavily criticised for its OS fragmentation.
Basically each android OS has it own nickname.
Below is the list of all Android Operating System till date,
the latest is the 5.0 OS nicknamed Lollipop.
  • Android 2.3.3 - 2.3.7 Gingerbread, 
  • Android 4.0.4 - 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich,
  • Android 4.1 - 4.3 Jelly Bean,
  • Android 4.4.2 - 4.4.4 KitKat,
  • Android 5.0 LolliPop
Warning:
  1. Please do backup your android system or backup 
          all your applications and information stored in your device 
          because the update will involve making all wipes.

            3. Enable the USB Debugging through Settings >> About Phone
              4. Tap 7times on Build number till you see "You are now a developer"
                5. If you have rooted your devices b4 skip step 4
                6. Root your device here if not rooted before here
                  7. Charge your Android phone or device to full battery

              How Do I Update the Device To Android 4.4.2 Without losing Root?

              •  Download SuperSU to your SD card here
                       click here to root your device
              • Download the ROM file that best suit you here or use here
              • Make sure the ROM file is on your SD card as well, 
                        if not copy it to your sd card
              • Power off your device, press and hold the power button 
                       and volume down button to enter CWM recovery 
                       (recovery mode may vary on android devices)
              • When in the recovery mode make use of the power button 
                        to select and volume up or down to scroll
              • Make all wipe in the recovery mode: first wipe >> 
                       Advanced wipe and wipe cache >> System, Data and Cache.
              • Return to the main menu and press CWM recovery in the install menu
              • Browse through the folder to locate your device SD card 
                        with the ROM file and select it
              • Once the ROM is flashed with Android 4.4.2, return to the
                         main menu and install the archive-UPDATE-SuperSU-vx.xx.zip file.
              • Once done reboot your android device.
              Your Android device OS should be 4.4.2 (kitkat) and rooted now.
